Want to Volunteer? Follow These Steps

1. Live in The Villages, Florida. Fill out the volunteer application (see below), let us know which village you live in, and the types of volunteer services, such as neighbor support or non-medical assistance, that you're interested in providing through volunteering in The Villages.

2. Fill out the information below and click submit. We will contact you to schedule an appointment to discuss Caring Neighbors. During that meeting we will provide you the necessary paperwork to complete your ​Background and DMV checks which helps residents feel confident knowing volunteers assisting them are thoroughly vetted.

3. Once your background check is approved, you'll be assigned to a village or group of villages called a chapter, where you can engage by accepting volunteering opportunities that provide non-medical assistance to your neighbors. Then, attend your group monthly meeting to keep up on general information.  It's that simple!

Give rides to and from the doctor, physical therapy, the grocery store or church.

Support your neighbor by picking up and delivering meals, providing the nourishment they need to thrive.

Short term cat sitting or dog walking can be a great way to provide neighbor support while enjoying the outdoors.

We'll pick up prescriptions, groceries, or other items to provide access to what our neighbors need.

Spend time with your neighbor to provide companionship that truly makes a difference in their lives.

Provide a caregiver with a much-needed break they deserve.

Help fix things around the house. 

Sometimes even small jobs can be incredibly beneficial to someone.
